How to Complete NSOU Online Renewal for FYUG/UG/BDP 2026
To complete the NSOU online renewal for FYUG, UG, and BDP programmes for Academic Year 2026-2027, follow these steps on the university’s online renewal portal.
- Visit the online renewal portal of Netaji Subhas Open University.
- Click on the “Renewal” tab.
- Click on “Apply for Renewal”.
- Enter your Enrollment Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on “Login”.
- Verify your details and proceed to payment.
- Choose your preferred payment method (Online/Offline Challan).
- Complete the payment process.
- After successful payment, download and print the Provisional Enrollment Certificate & Token of Self Learning Materials (SLMs).
- Provide and verify your DEB ID through the renewal portal.

The NSOU renewal fees for various programmes for the Academic Year 2026-2027 include an “Other Fee” of Rs. 475/-. This “Other Fee” is already part of the total renewal amount.
The “Other Fee” covers Enrolment Fee, Fee for Identity Cum Registration Card, Annual Development Fee, and Migration Fee.

Mandatory DEB ID for NSOU Renewal 2026
As per directives from UGC-DEB, obtaining a DEB ID is mandatory to pursue any programme under the Open and Distance Learning mode at NSOU.
Learners must get their DEB ID from the UGC-DEB portal (deb.ugc.ac.in/StudentDEBId).
After paying renewal fees, learners must provide and verify their DEB ID through the NSOU renewal portal by 08 October 2026 (04:00 P.M.) to complete renewal formalities. Applications will be rejected if the DEB ID is not provided and verified.
