M.Ed. Special Education Admission and Fee Structure

NSOU offers M.Ed. Special Education in distance mode with specializations in Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Hearing Impairment (HI). Candidates are allotted seats through offline counseling and spot admission rounds based on rank in the Combined Provisional Merit List.

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the first installment of the programme fee for M.Ed. Special Education (IDD/HI)-ODL is Rs. 40,000. Fees are collected during counseling via Bank Draft drawn in favour of Netaji Subhas Open University payable at Kolkata, or through POS machine and QR code payments (UPI/GPay) using Debit or Credit Cards.

Eligibility Criteria and Documents Required

To be eligible for M.Ed. Special Education admission at NSOU, candidates must hold a valid Rehabilitation Council of India (R.C.I.) Registration Certificate.
