PG Admission Procedure and Dates for July 2026 Session
Applicants seeking admission to Post Graduate programmes, including Master of Social Work (MSW), for the July 2026 session submit their forms through the NSOU PG admission portal. As per UGC-DEB guidelines, obtaining and verifying a DEB ID from deb.ugc.ac.in is compulsory for all distance learners.

Field Work Workshop for MSW Part-I
The Department of Social Work under the School of Professional Studies conducts compulsory practical field work workshops. As per the MSW Part I Field Work Workshop notice, a workshop for Paper-VIII is scheduled for MSW Part-I learners (January & July 2025 batch) under the Jalpaiguri Regional Centre.
The workshop takes place on 08/10/2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Jalpaiguri Regional Centre, NSOU, conducted by Dr. Monojit Garai, Assistant Professor of Social Work.
