Postgraduate (PG) and BLIS Admission 2026-2027 (July 2026 Session)

The online application system for PG and BLIS programmes for the Academic Year 2026-2027 (July 2026 session) was available from 25 July 2026. Eligibility and Process for M.Sc. in Environmental Science (PGES), Geography (PGGR), and Zoology (PGZO) July 2026 Session

Admission to M.Sc. in Environmental Science (PGES), M.Sc. in Geography (PGGR), and M.Sc. in Zoology (PGZO) for the July 2026 session is strictly based on merit and the reservation policy of the Government of West Bengal and the University, through counselling and seat allotment. A mop-up round of counselling was held on 28 September 2026 and 30 September 2026 for candidates from the merit list published on 23 September 2026.

Allotment of seats is made in order of merit and subject to seat availability at the respective Learner Support Centre for the course and category. Candidates must appear in person at the counselling venue. Missing a slot means no accommodation in subsequent slots. No TA/DA is paid by NSOU for attending counselling.

Reservation of seats for SC/ST/PH/OBC/EWS is applicable only to candidates from West Bengal.
